Trust

She wanted to cry her heart 0ut,

But tears dried in her eyes.

She wanted to shout on top of her lungs,

But the voice stuck in the lump of her throat.

She wanted to die the moment he left her,

But death was nowhere near her.

He didn’t trust her,

She didn’t have faith either.

He left her crushing the dreams he promised,

She kept standing there until tainted hues could vanish.
