I cried the day
You left me alone.
I blinked my eyes twice,
But you were long gone.

Just how many times,
Have we said our goodbyes?
Drunken confessions
And sober lies.

The heart wrenching reality was
you never wanted to stay.
The night thunders always
Remind me you were a lie.

I couldn’t come upto let you go,
was it always this difficult to survive.
